Google has just announced the first details for Google I/O 2015
Google’s annual development conference will take place May 28th and 29th in San Francisco, the company said today. Registration for Google I/O 2015 will begin at 9 a.m. March 17th. To account for massive demand on tickets, attendees must be selected at random in a lottery just to get the chance to buy a ticket. Love it or hate it, that system is back this year.

The event will be livestreamed for those who aren’t able to participate, the company said.Last year, the theme of I/O was bringing Android everywhere: to autos, wearables, and beyond. This year, the website reflects the Material Design look that Android embraced. But no schedule for events has been posted so far.
Google I/O is traditionally one of the most-watched developer events of the year, featuring big new announcements and occasional stunts from Google executives. In 2012, Google famously demonstrated Project Glass by having skydivers livestream their jump onto the roof of Moscone Center.
